Jon & Sarah said I do at the gorgeous Chanteclaire Farms in Friendsville, MD. Every detail from their blush & navy toned wedding was incredible! If you’re looking for a fairy tale wedding venue, look no further! Chanteclaire Farms truly is a dream!

The day couldn’t have been any more perfect! I had fellow photographer friends Carrie from Carrie Leigh Photography & Chelsey from Rocha & Co. Photography second & third shooting with me. Not only did we get incredible shots from this day but we had a blast hanging out and shooting the wedding together! Jon & Sarah’s wedding party was so much fun to work with and made our jobs so easy!

I have said it before, but I will say it again, I truly am blessed to have such amazing couples to work with and am honored they trust in me to capture their wedding day!

Jon & Sarah decided to do a “first look” shoot, which I was thrilled about! Most of my couples have chosen to do a “first look” session before the ceremony and they all can agree they have been so happy with the outcome! It may be traditional to see each other for the first time as you come down the aisle, but it’s not very practical. The “first look” can be every bit as moving and memorable, with the added bonus of easing wedding day stress! First look allows more time to capture family and bridal party photos, as well as more time for artistic portraits of just the two of you.  A longer artistic session means you have more images of you and your love together, which will likely be the most important images to you of the day.  In a “traditional” wedding, most couples don’t make it to their cocktail hour because they’re off taking pictures, and trying to squeeze all of their groupings into a short amount of time.  Without the worry of keeping your guests waiting, you can jump right in to the fun of celebrating your union. Just something to think about! I’ve included a few favorites from the day, enjoy!

We’ve all seen the non-traditional father-daughter dance where they start off slow then change it up with a fun dance, but this my friends put the icing on the cake! I had no idea it was coming either which made it even more a surprise! It started off like any other father-daughter dance, then BAM! Out came the moves! I don’t think I have ever laughed so hard during this dance at a wedding! It was seriously amazing! The smiles on their faces were priceless too! I kept imagining my husband and daughter doing this at her wedding one day! Hope you enjoyed!2016-08-03_00652016-08-03_00662016-08-03_00582016-08-03_0064
